Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This policy explains how Payora Payroll collects, uses and protects personal data. We follow the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data.

2. Our role

For your account details (name, email, phone) we are the data controller. For the employee and payroll data your organization enters, your organization is the controller and we process that data on its behalf and only on its instructions.

3. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, company name, emirate and password (stored hashed).
• Employee data: personal, employment, salary and bank account details and documents your organization uploads.
• Usage and security data: sign-in records, IP address, browser type and the activity log within the Service.

4. How we use data

We use data to provide the Service (calculating pay, preparing WPS files, payslips and reports), to keep accounts secure, to contact you about your account and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data and we do not use your employees' data for advertising.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers we rely on (such as hosting and email delivery) under confidentiality obligations, when the law or a competent authority requires it, or on your organization's instructions (for example payroll files you send to your bank).

6. Security

We encrypt connections (HTTPS), store passwords with a secure hash, encrypt bank account numbers, and apply role-based permissions and an audit log of activity.

7. Retention

We keep data for as long as your account is active and as needed to meet legal requirements for payroll records. When an account is closed we delete or anonymise the data within a reasonable period, unless the law requires us to keep it.

8. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal data, or to receive a copy of it. Employees should first contact their employer, which controls their data.

9. Cookies

We use only essential cookies, for sign-in, security and remembering your language. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Updates and contact

We may update this policy and will tell you about material changes.
